Frequently Asked Questions

  • Your first session is all about getting to know each other. We’ll explore what brings you to therapy, what you're hoping to get out of it, and any questions you have about the process. There’s no pressure to dive too deep right away—our goal is to create a space where you feel safe and supported.

  • If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just not like yourself, therapy can be a helpful way to explore what’s going on and find new ways to navigate life’s challenges. You don’t need to have a big crisis to reach out—therapy is for anyone looking for support, growth, and a deeper sense of well-being.

  • I support clients with a variety of concerns, including stress, anxiety, self-confidence, life transitions, and more. If you’re unsure whether I’m the right fit for your needs, I offer a free 20-minute consultation where we can chat about what you're looking for and how I can help.

  • Everyone’s journey is different. Some people find a few sessions helpful, while others prefer longer-term support. We’ll check in regularly to make sure therapy is working for you, and you’re always in control of how long we continue.

  • Yes! I offer both in-person and virtual sessions. If you prefer to meet in person and you live in the Windsor-Essex County area, we can schedule sessions at my office. If you’d rather have the flexibility of online sessions, you can access support from the comfort of your own space. All you need for virtual sessions is a private, quiet place and a stable internet connection.

  • My session rates are $160.00. I understand that finances can be a barrier, so I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots. Feel free to ask about availability.

  • I am a Registered Social Worker in Ontario. Many extended health benefits plans in Ontario cover services provided by a Registered Social Worker, but coverage varies by provider. I recommend checking with your insurance company or your Human Resources department to confirm your eligibility. While I am unable to direct bill, I will provide a receipt with my registration number that you can submit for reimbursement.

  • Life happens, I understand that. However, if you need to reschedule or cancel, please provide 24hrs notice to avoid a cancellation fee.

  • My approach is holistic, collaborative, and tailored to your needs. I use a trauma-informed approach and draw from evidence-based practices, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), polyvagal theory, attachment-based therapy, and compassionate focused therapy, to help you feel more connected, empowered, and supported in your healing.

  • You can reach out through my contact form on this website to schedule your free 20-minute consultation or your first session. You don’t have to face this alone—let’s find a path forward together.
